How do I create an e-mail via a Plesk web server?

In addition to numerous functions, Plesk also offers the option of conveniently managing your emails via Plesk. You can find out how to set up an email inbox via Plesk in this guide:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Click on "Email" in the left menu bar.
  3. Click on "Add e-mail address" at the top left.
  4. Now enter the name of the email address.
  5. Then fill in the box below if you want to log in to Plesk with this e-mail address. Leave this box empty if this is not the case.
  6. If you forget your access to this e-mail address, you will need an alternative e-mail to which your password can be reset. Enter this e-mail address in the field next to "External e-mail address".
  7. Then enter a password for this email address. You can choose this yourself or simply generate it. Confirm this password again. Display the password again under "Show" and save it.
  8. You can also determine how much storage space is allocated to this e-mail inbox. Note that the value must not exceed the default size.
  9. Finally, you can also add a description for this email, but you will only see this in Plesk and is therefore used for internal diligence.
